SPIELBERICHT 27.04.2024 SEAHAWKS 1 @ BERLIN SLUGGERS

Game 1

The game started off with a bang as Coy hit a double off the wall to get the game going, from then on in it was the Seahawks offence that got the job done, collecting 21 hits and scoring 20 runs! Some outstanding offensive games from Torge, Mike and Freddy.

Larsson was back to his old form on the mound being almost unhittable, only allowing 1 hit. C. Schmidt came on in relief and got the job done for the Seahawks. Some outstanding defensive efforts from Carlos at shortstop to help our pitchers out!

Was a really complete performance from the team. 
Seahawks win 20-3!!

Game 2

Game 2 saw a bit of a different start to the game as it was very pitcher and defence dominated. Joseph started game two for the Seahawks and threw 2 scoreless innings to start the game, as well as the Sluggers pitcher.

The 3rd inning saw a bit of a turn in the game with a few walks an error and a hit to bring in some runs for the sluggers which saw them take a 3 run lead. The Seahawks hit back in the 4th being able to pinch 1 run off some good pitching, but unfortunately some bad defence lead to 3 more runs in the bottom of the 4th for the Sluggers. Torge was great in relief to keep the Seahawks in the game, the seahawks were able to get 3 runs back in the 5th after a few hits from Mandy, Freddy and Raphael!

The bottom of the 5th inning saw the Sluggers score 4 more again after some sloppy defence from the Seahawks.

The game did not go our way and ended 4-10 Sluggers win…
